About HealthCare Guaranteed

Our organization is dedicated to the proposition that every US citizen should have access to effective, affordable and essential health care, and furthermore, that the Guaranteed HealthCare Access plan is the best means of achieving that vision. The Plan was initially introduced into the public debate in early-2005 in an article co-authored by Ezekiel Emanuel and Victor Fuchs that appeared in the New England Journal of Medicine. Since that time, the concept has steadily gained credibility, particularly among academics and policy think tanks, but still remains relatively unknown among elected officials and the general public.

We want to change that.

Guaranteed HealthCare Access for All by 2012
Our operational objective is to see a comprehensive, Guaranteed HealthCare Access reform bill signed by the President by year-end 2012. Beginning in 2008 we will be working to recruit key Congressional leaders, of both houses and both parties, to introduce and support legislation that will enable the creation of a Guaranteed HealthCare Access system. In support of this objective, and concurrent with these activities, we plan to mobilize public opinion behind the HealthCare Guaranteed plan

HealthCare Guaranteed - A Clearinghouse
Central to our plans is our Website, which we intend to use as an educational center and information clearinghouse on all matters pertaining to the Guaranteed Healthcare Access plan. Through our Website we will tell you how you can get involved and promote the Plan for all Americans. The Website will keep you posted on our activities, the status of the Plan in the public dialogue, reference materials that we come across, and information about important events and activities.
